We've all heard the pickup lines that DON'T work...

"Do you have any Irish in you? Do You Want some?"

or,

"You look so sweet you're giving me a toothache."

...but what about the pickup lines that WORK?

If you want a pickup line to actually work, it should be one of 2 things:

1) It should make her laugh

or,

2) It should make her think (something like an opinion pickup line)

Without one of those two things going for you, you can pretty much kiss your chances goodbye.

The good part, however, is that it's really not that hard to make a girl laugh or think, especially if you're prepared with a one of these pickup lines that work up your sleeve...

Here are some great pickup lines that work:

"Excuse me, I need a female opinion...who do you think lies more, men or women? My friend says men but I think it's women hands down."

(Women love the chance to share their opinions on anything)

"Excuse me, I was talking to my friend the other day about astrology, and I want to get a woman's opinion...do you think a persons star sign effects their personality, or do you think that just a load of crap?"

You can follow up with "What's your star sign?"

When she tells you, make sure you tell her it's NOT compatible with yours, so you guess SHE doesn't have a chance with YOU, and give her a cheeky smile. This kind of confident humor is the stuff that women LOVE!

Or go with fun pickup lines that work...

"Hey, I'm thinking of getting my hair cut, because I'm sick of this old boring one. If you could pick any guys haircut around here, which one would you give me? And it can't be that guy over there with the bowl cut! Be nice."

or,

"Who do you think wears more makeup? Gene Simmonds, or that old waitress lady over there?"

The key thing when approaching a woman is not to look Like You want something from her, but rather you want to look like you're talking to her because you're bored and couldn't think of anything better to do at that moment.

So approach from the side casually, with confidence (not head on), and just treat her like someone to share a joke or a conversation with. You'll be surprised at how receptive most women are when you casually approach them like this.

If you want pickup lines to work for you, the best thing you can do is memorize a few good ones, each with a few prepared responses to follow up with depending on her answer, and practice them before you go out. Once you get them down and build up a little more confidence approaching women, you can get more creative.

Just remember, the idea is to start a conversation, not spit out a one liner in a woman's face, so the follow up is just as important. If you use something interesting as an opener, the follow up shouldn't be hard at all.

This might sound gross - but...

Take a very *thin* - very sharp needle. Use a magnified mirror and very carefully lift the blackhead out. Clean with a bit if rubbing alcohol.
