What should I serve at a Baby shower afternoon tea? Please give me specific suggestion such as the type of cake or sandwich instead of just the general term. I need things that are small, easy to make and able to be eaten easily. If you could also give me suggestions of what to serve as drinks that would be great. Any other tips are greatly appreciated. Nice vegetable, cheese and rolled meat trays would be great.
Simple finger sandwiches with just easy things like cream cheese, lettuce and a slice of deli meat on whole wheat and white breads. Mini egg sandwiches, peanut butter, tuna and other simple cheap fillings like this would be great.
A recipe for a GREAT wrap that I've had at many different showers that EVERYBODY raves over is:
White and Whole wheat tortillas
Cream Cheese
Lettuce
Dried Cranberries (think Crasins by Oceanspray)
Chopped Green onion

Spread cream cheese on the wrap and sprinkle the cranberries and green onions ontop. Cover with lettuce and roll. Cut in halves or thirds to make them fit into the finger sandwich theme.

A fruit tray with maybe some chocolate dip would be great and simple.

For cake, a nice angel's food cake with a little cool whip and either strawberries or raspberries would be a nice light satisfying cake.

You could make a nice punch with fruit punch (not much, you just want a slight hint of flavour) mixed with gingerale. A few pomegratate seeds or raspberry pieces floating in it would be great! If theres no alcohol in it then everybody can enjoy it.
