Baptism Invitations For Adult and Baby Baptism Party Ceremony!
The day your baby or adult family member is baptized is a special day not only for him or her but for the entire family. Sending personalized Baptism invitations can ensure that the entire family can gather together to celebrate this important milestone. However, before you can begin sending out the Baptism Invitation You should make sure to have all the plans for the event out of the way.
Baptism Cards: Date & Location
Choosing the location for the event will probably not be very challenging. Most people prefer to use their own church for this special day. However, you may need to be more selective in choosing the date to include in your christening cards. Churches generally only perform Baptism Christening on certain days or at certain times so make sure you contact your church to find out which times are going to be available.
Also, some churches will require you and Your Family or your child (if he or she is older) to attend baptism classes. These can delay the date of your celebration so start planning early if you have a set time in mind for the baptism. After a date is set, you should send your baptism christening invitations at least two to three weeks in advance. If there will be a long delay or if you are inviting a large number of out-of-town guests, you may want to send separate save-the-Date Cards so your guests can begin planning for the trip even before you mail out the official custom Baptism invitation.
Baptismal Invitations: The Guest List
Once you know when the event will occur, you need to decide who should be on hand to share it with your child. Obviously, the child's godparents should be present. You should have selected these individuals already and should have discussed your decision with them. Remember picking godparents is not something to take lightly. These are going to be individuals who are supposed to play an important role in the live of your child.
Besides the godparents, you should also send baptism invitations cards to the grandparents, any uncles and aunts, and close friends of the family who are important to you and who will probably be a part of your child's life for a long time. If you’re concerned about inviting people from different religious faiths, don't be. Most people will be able to put their religious differences aside to celebrate this day with your family. However, you can include the religious affiliate of your church on the Baptism invitation if it makes you feel more comfortable.
Baptismal Invitation: Continuing the Celebration
Although the main part of the baptism is the church service, most families continue the celebration with some type of reception. You might have planned to serve a meal at Your Home or you may prefer to gather together at a nearby restaurant. Regardless of how You Choose to continue the celebration, make sure to provide the details on the personalized Baptism invitations before you mail them so guests will know what to expect.
