I've been offered one from a very old friend of mine for $750 cash. I know he's a man of his word and wouldn't cheat me out of money for anything. I still just HAD to check the car out to see if there was anything wrong with it. It needs a battery, a rear-end, and new upholstery: exactly like he told me. The paint is relatively new, but I still might get that redone.
So as for the question;
-1.) How good of a deal is $750 for that car.
and
-2.) What color(s) should I paint it, and in what paint style? ( Gloss, metallic, pearl, ect. ) I don't want to put any ugly vinyls, decals, or designs on it. A two-tone or solid color combination is what I'm asking for. Also, red, yellow, orange, purple, pink and electric colors are out of the question. This is American muscle, not some kind of imported show car.
I'd appreciate any opinions, thanks much!

Price sounds great. Personally, I am very fond of urethane enamel. I think basic colors on these are best. Black, white, blue, red, or metallic silver. Just my opinion.
